Why The Holdings Co.?

I was living in Miami in the first part of 2018. One morning, I was reading an article about Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and his Related Companies. I was living in one of his company’s buildings at the time. I went to the gym that morning and saw a gentleman who looked like Mr. Ross. I told him the same, to which he smiled and said, “That’s because I am.”

Mr. Ross and I had a pleasant conversation that I will never forget. Not long after, taking after the name “Related Companies,” our simple “The Holdings Co.” was born (based on the eventual hope we’d be a global company, too).

Funny how things happen, right?
